b2ap3_thumbnail_Joanna-Hodges.jpgKeith White, Executive Director for Providence Place of Chambersburg, announced the addition of Joanna Hodges, LPN to his leadership team. As Director of Wellness for Providence Place Senior Living, Joanna is responsible for managing all aspects of the community's nursing program. The Director of Wellness leads and manages a team of approximately 50 Personal Care Associates, Medication Associates, and Licensed Practical Nurses.

In addition to managing her team, Hodges also coordinates nursing care and services for approximately 150 residents. In collaboration with residents' physicians, Joanna ensures that Providence Place residents' medical and physical needs are met.

The company's approach to wellness is unique. Aside from taking medications as prescribed, residents' health and well-being is supported by nutritious meals, physical fitness programs, and stimulating activities.

For the past eight years, Hodges held a similar position with a Fayetteville, Pennsylvania senior community. "I am pleased to have Joanna overseeing our nursing department. Her previous experience and high standards are a perfect fit with our organization", says White. Joanna is a graduate of Gettysburg High School and Hanover's Practical Nursing Program. She received her Personal Care Home Administrator's certificate in 2015.

Providence Place of Chambersburg is a licensed personal care community located at 2085 Wayne Road. The Leader Family owns and operates five communities in the state of Pennsylvania, with headquarters in Hummelstown. Providence Place offers Independent Living, Personal Care, and Memory Support Services to about 650 seniors company-wide.
