Choices: Short-Term Stays

There are ways to see if the lifestyle at a Providence Place Adult Retirement Community is right for you, before paying the entry fees.

"Try Us On For Size"

Trial Stay - Interested residents can stay at one of our retirement communities for up to 30 days without having to pay the community fee upon entrance. Should the resident decide to stay longer than the 30-day trial period, they would pay the community fee and be considered a full-time resident.

Respite Stay - A respite stay is a short-term stay at a Providence Place Retirement Community. This option is available for those times when a caregiver can't provide regular care and companionship at home. This stay usually lasts 2 to 3 weeks. It is a hassle-free and convenient way to respond to a temporary service need.

Transitions Stay - The Transitions Program is a more sophisticated package of services designed to address a specific health-related need. It is for elderly adults who require care (after scheduled surgery or during a temporary illness) and desire an attractive residential setting. You are afforded comfort and privacy, while receiving the needed nursing, rehabilitation and nutritional support to assist in your recovery. Learn more about Transitions Program benefits.
