Providence Place Senior Living

Hummelstown, PA: Vice President of Operations, Rick Barley, RN, BSN, announced today that the company's Dover community achieved a deficiency-free inspection in December of 2015. I'm just so pleased with the team's commitment to quality resident care. Their attention to detail is apparent. It's not easy to achieve zero deficiencies on a full Department of Human Services inspection.

In order to be a licensed provider of personal care services in Pennsylvania, a facility must pass an annual inspection to measure their compliance with DHS regulations. The team of inspectors visited Providence Place of Dover last month. In addition to their observations, they reviewed resident and staff records, and conducted on-site interviews.

The Executive Director of Providence Place, Dana Stump, along with her team of managers, were very proud of their accomplishment. Ms. Stump is planning a team celebration to acknowledge everyone's involvement in the community's success. Each co-worker will receive a green fleece pullover with the company's logo as a token of her appreciation. I'm looking forward to watching the team at Dover continue to grow and improve in 2016, said Barley.

I moved here last July, and it is a wonderful place for seniors to come and live. Staff, nursing, and the overall environment are very nice.

My mother is happy and content and I feel comfortable knowing she is in the right place. She loves the meals, feels safe in her new home, and thinks all of the staff are wonderful. I’m thankful we found Providence Place.
