- Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing. In order to ensure the safety of our residents and coworkers, please note that Providence Place reserves the right to conduct drug screenings on all coworkers and potential coworkers. We also reserve the right to conduct consumer credit checks, if necessary. If you are applying for a position that involves driving, you will be required to sign an authorization for us to check your driving record.
- We are under federal obligation to do criminal background checks on all prospective coworkers prior to employment. In our work with seniors, it is important that we maintain a safe and secure environment for our residents and coworkers. Federal guidelines prohibit us from employing anyone who has been convicted of certain crimes.
- Employment-At-Will Statement: I hereby understand and acknowledge that, unless otherwise defined by applicable law, any employment relationship with this organization is of an “at will” nature, which means that the Employee may resign at any time and the Employer may discharge Employee at any time with or without cause. It is further understood that this “at will” employment relationship may not be changed by any written documentation or by conduct unless such change is specifically acknowledged in writing by an authorized executive of this organization.
