Our Dining Program

Providence Place residents have more control over their dining program than ever before. Resident dining committees help shape the Providence Place dining experience. The resident dining committee plays an important role in designing our menus by recommending new entrees and recipes. Our new dining program includes the addition of:

  • In-season produce purchased from local farms

  • Local favorites & fare (regional recipes)

  • Heart-healthy menu alternates

  • Scratch cooking

  • Plated salads

  • Use of selector sheets to customize meals

In addition to fresh produce, local cuisine, and healthier choices, residents have more flexibility with meal times. We now offer open seating for breakfast to accommodate each resident’s morning schedule. Likewise, a range of seating times are offered for lunch and dinner. This allows residents to have more control over when they eat their meals and how they plan their days.

Everyone likes to have choices. This is especially true when it comes to food. At Providence Place, we offer residents their choice of entree for lunch and dinner, as well as their choice of soup, including a soup du jour. All of our soups, most of our entrees, and many desserts are homemade on-site by our executive chef and dining team.

Aside from the delicious and freshly prepared meals served in our dining rooms, Providence Place residents enjoy around-the-clock access to a complimentary beverage and snack bar, including baked goods, assorted fresh fruit, fruit infused-water and coffee.
