Rick Barley, Vice President of Operations for Providence Place Senior Living announced late last week that a new Executive Director has been hired to lead the daily operations at the company’s Personal Care Community located at 24 Hikes Hollow Road in Pine Grove, PA. Tanya Hoy, who has been acting as the interim Administrator for the past month, was recently selected by Barley to permanently manage the community and its team of co-workers.
“This is a well-deserved promotion for Tanya”, said Barley during a recent interview. “She has been a valued Providence Place team member for eight years, and has worn many hats over the course of her career with us. I have a lot of confidence in her personally and professionally. Tanya has demonstrated strong leadership and real commitment to the company.”
Prior to her promotion, Hoy was the Director of Wellness at the company’s Pottsville location. She also held the title of Corporate Director of Wellness for Providence Place. In addition to her work within the company, Tanya also served as an Army Field Nurse based in Hawaii, and held nursing positions in the fields of skilled nursing and pediatrics.
“It’s obvious that Tanya has found her calling when you see her interact with our senior residents”, says Vice President of Marketing, Ashley Uhler. “She is patient and compassionate, and goes the extra mile to make sure that all of their needs are being met, not just their health and physical needs.”
