HUMMELSTOWN, Pennsylvania-July 10, 2017- Providence Place has hired a new Executive Director to lead operations at its Dover community, which is located in York County. Howard Holben has been named the new Executive Director of Providence Place of Dover. In his new role, Howard reports to Vice President of Operations, Rick Barley.

He has been in similar roles for the past eleven years, most recently working at a large continuing care retirement community located in Fayetteville, PA. In addition to being a certified personal care home administrator, he has also held executive level positions in finance. “Of course Howard’s background and experience qualify him for this position. However, it’s his warm personality, high standards, and strong ethics that make him a good fit with our company”, says VP, Rick Barley.

During a recent interview, Howard explained that his true passion for this business is getting to know the residents and their families. He missed having the opportunity to build these relationships in his previous role so decided to take on a new challenge with a different company.
