Providence Place Named Best Assisted Living in Schuylkill County

HUMMELSTOWN, PA, June 5, 2017 – The Republican Herald announced the winners of its 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards in a May 4th special edition. Providence Place won the award for Best Assisted Living in Schuylkill County for the second consecutive year.

The winners were selected based on the total number of online and paper ballots received. Readers voted for their favorite businesses in pre-determined categories. Providence Place won Best Assisted Living under the category of Services. “I am very grateful to our customers, friends, and neighbors who nominated us for this award”, said Anna Zuratt, Executive Director for Providence Place of Pottsville.

Providence Place, a licensed personal care home, provides apartment-style living with services for its senior residents. Approximately 160 seniors live at Providence Place of Pottsville. In addition to providing assistance with activities of daily living, the community offers restaurant-style dining and a vibrant activities program.

Providence Place is a local, family-owned company with five locations in Pennsylvania. Two of the company’s senior living communities are located in Schuylkill County; 24 Hikes Hollow Road in Pine Grove and 2200 1st Avenue in Pottsville.
