Hummelstown, PA, June 5, 2017 – Providence Place is among the recipients of the 2017 Bronze Quality Award. The award was given to 520 care facilities in 46 states. Only 21 awards were granted to Pennsylvania operators. Providence Place received 3 of the 21 awards this year. Providence Place of Chambersburg, Pottsville, and Drums each earned the prestigious award. They join 2016 Bronze award winners Providence Place of Dover and Pine Grove.
“I am proud to be able to say that all five of our communities are quality award winners”, said company President and CEO, David Leader. To qualify for this award, a community must demonstrate their intention to commit to quality improvement. It is a progressive award. Achieving the bronze award is the first step of the process. Bronze award recipients are eligible to pursue the Silver Achievement in Quality Award. The awards will be presented at the AHCA/NCAL Annual Convention, Expo and Award Ceremony on October 17, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV.
